About us

The YMCA, often known as the Y in some regions, is a global youth organisation with over 64 million members across 120 countries. Its headquarters are in Geneva, Switzerland. George Williams established the organisation as the Young Men's Christian Association on June 6, 1844, in London. The organisation works to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in order to live out Christian principles.
